Bonds rate is going up

Canadian 5 year bond yields markets  +.07. to 1.05, and have been inching upwards for the past week.   The spread (obtained by subtracting the bond yield above from the industry average 5 yr rate Published mortgage rate of 3.19) is still over the top of the profit range at 2.14, however yields jumped to a midday high of 1.20 last week, with some lenders having already increased rates on unpublished special Friday.

We still have 5 years fixed rate mortgage at 2.49%, and variable rate at 2%.
